A Blueprint Of A Salon

Exhibition: Paris, Before and After, 1860-2010

You knew what it was before you, Paris? Exposure

Amazing as that proposed this week from the Academy of Architecture in collaboration with the Maecenas editions. entitled Paris, before and after, 1860-2010 , it will delight lovers of the capital and its history by comparing images as 150 years apart.
one hand, pictures taken by photographer Charles Marville, who was especially charged, before the great works of Baron Haussmann, to immortalize the street from another age disappear. On the other, actual pictures, taken exactly the same view at the time. What note that apart from a few major arteries, identifiable in both series, Paris has, over a period ultimately not very long, and it totally transformed our greatest fun!
